Manny Ramirez's stormy relationship with the Boston Red Sox appears to be over.
A baseball source has confirmed Ramirez has been traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers, ESPN.com has learned.
Jason Bay is going to Boston as part of the deal, ESPN.com's Jayson Stark reported. And the Pittsburgh Pirates get four minor leaguers as part of the three-way deal.
Third baseman Andy LaRoche and right-handed pitcher Bryan Morris will go to the Pirates from the Dodgers. Outfielder Brandon Moss and right-handed pitcher Craig Hansen will leave the Red Sox orgianization for Pittsburgh, ESPN.com has learned.

I loved Manny through college up in Massachusetts and I am ecstatic that we have him now in LA. Maybe he can teach Andruw Jones how to hit again?

Manny and Kemp obviously play and Torre LOVES Pierre. That leaves Ethier as the rotational day-off guy and Andruw should pass through waivers and hopefully we can pawn him off somewhere.

Has any player ever had as big a drop off (that is not injury related) at such a young age as Andruw Jones? I've been following baseball since the late 70's and I can't think of one.
