4x4 roto non-keeper (no runs or Ks) - i can get carlos guillen for lee as i need a 3B since blake/rolen are not really helping out (zimmerman's on DL), especially on my AVG. my other starters are beckett, billingsley, joba, bedard, buchholz (called back up) and the DLed wainwright. we usually start 3 or 4 starters a week. i could add sonnanstine if i make this deal. i'm thinking i have to sell lee while i can and this is the best i can get. should i hold lee or pull the trigger? wins, ERA, and WHIP are tight too. thanks.

Think you can get more for Lee

i've shopped him but most people think he will not maintain his pace. should i just ride him out then and cross my fingers at 3B?

If you're tight in Wins, ERA< WHIP I'd hold onto Lee as I like him to continue pitching well. I don't think Guillen alone is enough.

thanks. you scared me out of the deal for now though i can't help thinking lee will regress more to his norm

Lee will regress, but don't think at the rate that some people think. He's showing a pretty good dominance rating, excellent control, and an insane command rating.
His numbers will normalize a bit, but don't think it's going to be a real drastic drop.
Try again at the all star break, that's when people tend to get a little antsy and want to make a deal from my experience

I don't think that Guillen deal is that bad... remember at this point in the year, you're not necessarily after getting full value for a player, you're after needs. If you're looking to win, and you need a 3B to do so, do the deal.
