Although I don't doubt that some of the Justices play fantasy baseball, I can't find anything to corroborate this story. The story seems to begin at this blog:
http://www.newyorkpersonalinjuryattorneyblog.com/I've even checked out the website for the Supreme Court. It may be that this blogger has some information that no one else has reported on yet. But this is a pretty significant court case in regards to what can be owned and what can't. The blogger still hasn't come out and said it was an April Fool's joke so it could be real. Pretty interesting either way.

Yeah...I'm pretty sure it's a hoax, but still pretty damn funny.

The guy on the blog made a post yesterday that stated it was a hoax. However the issues are potentially real. That court case is sitting at the Supreme Court and more than a couple of the Justices are baseball fans. IF they happen to play fantasy baseball they could have a financial interest in the case. Albeit the interest would be small. This is the fact the author used to have some justice recuse themselves from the case and others stay in even though they partcipated in fantasy baseball.
If you read the whole post on the blog, it is pretty funny. He states that Sidd Finch is trying to make a comeback at age 50. The name of the Supreme Court league was Articles For Deletion. (AFD=April Fool's Day). A pretty great hoax but brings up some very interesting legal issues. I'm interested in that kind of stuff but that's just me.

Speaking of funny, I read last week that Dave Barry once said 'If a person has to choose between catching a fly ball and saving the life of an infant, a woman will choose to save the infant's life everytime...without even considering how many men are on base.'

LOL...I remember reading that Barry quote years ago. I miss his regular columns. He was hilarious.
