There has been talk about what to do now, where did everybody go, and we miss the old TMR neighborhood.

Well - I built us a new place to meet.

Rotopass has been a great landlord (thanks!), but we don't know what will happen to our accounts if we don't renew with Rotopass. New members wanting to join has also been troublesome.

This is a shout out to all the great posters who used to call TMR.com home. Please come back, we miss you! If everyone did just a little, the new site could have that same vibe as the old place did.

If not us, who? If not now, when?

I just registered. Thanks for putting this together. I'm only a roto baseball guy so I'll stick to that forum, but I'll do my best to check in at least once a day and see if we can get this board going. I'll try to get some buddies to join, but they probably won't be thinking about baseball for another month or so.

Anyone know "TJ4" from the TMR/Rotopass forums? He seems to one of the few remaining active posters and posted today about starting some baseball talk. He would probably be a good guy to bring over if someone knows how to contact him.

I didn't want to spam the Rotopass boards, but I might just go hit the forums that have recent posts, and let them know what we're trying to do.

Glad to see so many already making the trip over. I know I've been a ghost around the RotoPass boards for the past month or so but there just wasn't enough going on.

I'm more than willing to give my 110% over here to get this up and running now that we can recruit and expand. Let's bring us back to power boys!

Thanks for getting this going. I haven't checked the TMR boards in a long while and am glad I did. I hope this becomes as popular as the old message board ... I miss all of that good advice. I have more experience at H2H instead of Roto but I'll do my best to visit and post on this site.

Checking in! I'm pretty much only a baseball guy so I'll drop off after the season but I'll do what I can to keep the boards active. I'm just starting on my research for the season so I'll probably post something within the next couple of days.

Good to see some of the familiar names from TMR here already. Let's get it going again.

Bob, thanks for setting this up. I approached someone about setting something like this up with the possibility for expansion but he had some friends/connections that had already started something similar. Glad someone was able to get it up and running. Thanks again.

Thanks for getting this going again! I've missed (sorely!) the days of the TMR boards. Spent entirely too much time there, and didn't regret a split second of it. Nice to see some familiar handles here, and to those I haven't met yet, I'm looking forward to getting to know you guys!

I think the boards are by far what I miss most about the TMR community. Articles too, of course, because they have changed quite a bit since going over to the dark side.

If anyone remembers particularly helpful folks from the prior forum you can invite them by looking them up in the members section and sending them an e-mail. It's one at a time, but it's better than having no way to contact them.

I've tried hoops and hockey, but nowadays I just do football and baseball. I run several leagues and participate in several more so there is no time for more than that for me. Except of course for the time for these boards!

all right, i miss the tmr site and i performed a fadeaway on the rotopass experiment. i'd like to give this a shot with the rest of you. the espn boards are a poor imitation of what the tmr boards once were. thanks for giving this a try, i'll do what i can to support it.

What's going on guys??? I used to post regularly on the TMR/Rotopass boards. Hopefully I can post more often on this new one. Life gets busy unfortunately, and the old boards lost their mojo with the lack of migration unfortunately.

I will do my best to throw this site out there to guys who are interested.

The goal here is to somehow recreate the feeling of the old TMR boards - the excellent insight, opinion, humor, and friendship that existed there.

This place might evolve into something else, but at good people are showing up, and we all seem to have the same plan.

Glad to see a good number of people trying to reviving the spirit TMR message boards, and just in time for baseball season!

Last season I really felt the boards were my secret weapon in capturing 3 first-place and a 4-place finish in my baseball leagues. Hopefully the tradition can carry on!

I'm a numbers-guy who feels least comfortable at baseball, but I went 1-1-2 last year and I couldn't have done it without the TMR baseball boards and draft kit. I always craved the entire perspective that the old TMR baseball boards provided and the draft kit really rounded things out. Basically - for a guy like me who doesn't live in an MLB city or have much time to watch baseball - I could cheat off all of you and pass my work off as my own. To all of the active members of the old TMR baseball board, thanks for carrying my sorry ass!!!

I refuse to give EXPN any of my money or time so I kind of felt like a man without a country going into this baseball season. But thanks to bookiebob, I can check in here and leech off of you guys and pretend I know what I'm doing when I "take the field" in April. By the looks of things, I'm sure I'm going to do okay yet again.

If you guys remember, I was the Pigware guy at TMR. I hadn't been back there since we parted ways, but stumbled across the RotoPass message board tonight.

Whatever happened to Pigware? A buddy of mine was looking for it the year after TMR no longer used it. He wasn't able to find it. Pretty good software if I remember.

Pigware is now for personal use only. After the deal with TMR went south, we folded up the tent.
