Have to pick 7 offensive players and 2 defensive players from this lot:
QB: Big Ben, Kitna
RB: Foster, K. Faulk, Jacobs, Rudi Johnson, Jamal Lewis, Rhodes, Kenny Watson
WR: Gaffney, Hackett, Housh, Smith, Welker
TE: Lee
D: Cromartie, Phillips, Taylor, Osi.
Start 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 TE, 1 K, 2 DBs, and 2 DLs.
Figuring for my offensive players: Big Ben, Jacobs, Housh, Welker, Smith. Need two more
For D, keep Osi and Cromartie.
Any advice?

I assume that's Steve Smith?
I'd keep JLewis and perhaps Rudi/Kitna for the remaining 2 offensive with the lean toward Rudi. I think I like your D selctions, though I'm not sure who "Phillips" and "Taylor" refer to. (sorry, I don't play IDP leagues!)

So basically you keep your starting line up each year? That makes it tough to turn a team around. I'm not loving any of your RB that much. Not sure how the scoring is in your league but assuming that it is heavily slanted towards RB, I'd keep with Fallex suggestions.

Yes it's Steve Smith.
It's Jason Taylor (I'd keep him if I could personally get his dancing partner, god she's hot) and Jermaine Phillips from TB.
Will keep Jamal Lewis and would then have to choose between Rudi or Kitna if I want to keep the 7th.
Not sold on Rudi, what the hell is his role anymore?

Next to his name on the Cincy depth chart it says "starter until he's injured - aka week 4"
Jokes aside, to his credit he wasn't half bad before he was bothered by hammy problems last year. Maybe the time on the sidelines will allow him to return fresh after the Bungles tried to run him into the ground the past few seasons. His backups are listed as Chris Perry (whom I think if he stays healthy could emerge - handcuff note), and Kenny "sexual chocolate" Watson.
Given your options, I think you could do worse than Rudi as RB3. Maybe I'm just against having 2 QBs within the first 9 picks.
Oh, and, MMMMM, Foooootbaaaaall!!

Yep - I'd go with Rudi and Lewis as your other two selections. I would suggest to not keep all 7 if you didn't have to but that would solely depend on who else would be thrown back. Getting Rudi/Lewis as 6th and 7th round selections is not all that bad.

Kitna started strong last year, and just fizzled out. Big Ben is not much better - any chance on improving your QB?
I'd definitely go with Housh, Welker, Smith, Rudi and Lewis. After that, I don't know - the Giants have been counting on Jacobs for so long, I'd go with him, leaving a QB slot, neither of which is very impressive. Who else is out there on the FA list?
