gotta be happy for the Yanks in the cottage - McBride, Keller, Bocanegra & Dempsey - for pulling off a minor miracle and keeping Fulham in the Prem for 08-09.
Now if only someone would pull of the same kind of magic for my $-league fantasy baseball team. Yesterday's pitching stats: four pitchers 11.2 innings, 1 win, 2 losses, 6Ks, 12.34 ERA, 2.4 WHIP. I keep telling myself, it's a long season, it's a long season, it's a long season...but the bleeding won't stop
back to the topic at hand: that Take It To The Next Level ad fr Nike is one of the coolest commercials ever made

Agree Cp - thank god Fullham survived. The team that gives Americans some hope. Would have hurt our reputation even further to see them get relegated.
I love the Nike ad as well, just wish Arsene Wegner and Arsenal weren't involved. Damn Frenchies!

Fulham sure made it interesting, waiting until the last month of the season to start winning - including 3 away wins, which they hadn't done in over 30 matches before that. I was sure they were done a couple months ago, but they got hot at just the right time. I'm glad too - I've always liked Brian McBride, so I'm glad he gets to keep playing in the Premiership. How about all those teams in the relegation battle winning today though? Reading 4-0 over Derby and Birmingham 4-1 over Blackburn. Crazy last day. And people here think soccer is boring.

Brazil is coming to Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts for the second time in 2 years.
I work at Gillette Stadium part time and was never a soccer fan. THe amount of people and excitement at a Brazil soccer game is out of this world. I don't plan on working the game this year but if anyone gets a chance, its a great thing to watch.
