Been offered a un-keepable John Danks for my keeper eligible (two more years, $1) Scott Baker. Don't know if I'd keep Baker.
Is Danks a considerable upgrade to make this deal?

danks is a considerable upgrade especially if you're not going to keep baker.

Very much an upgrade.
Danks is for real guys. Top prospect a few years back, he's been great all year.

Agree. I am looking forward to a huge second half from Danks--his run support has been ass so far. If that turns around and simply normalizes, he will be in line for a lot more wins on that team.

I'm going to be the odd man out, and say Baker - he's been slightly more dominant than Danks, and shows much more control and command than Danks.
Baker will probably hurt you less than Danks.

i like danks. i watched him sunday vs. the a's.
for playing in a home park that helps hr hitters what impressed me most about danks is that EVERY time he missed the strikezone he missed low.
his hr total is WAY down from last year. too bad you can't keep him in your league.
if i was targeting young pitchers for a keeper league, i think he makes an awesome target for a low cost/high reward keeper.
excuse me, i have to go. need to make some trade offers...
