I have Salty but he sucks and might lose his job so for the rest of the year who am I better with:
Salty
Suzuki
Ramon Hernandez
Navarro
Mathis
Shoppach
any others that might be on waivers in a 13 team league with 1 starting catcher?

Salty, Mathis, and Shoppach all have/will have PT issues.
I'd go with Shoppach for the next month then dump him for someone else if/when VMart comes back....that's what I'd probably do actually.
Out of the others, go with Navarro if you are just need a consistent catcher and Hernandez if you want a higher risk, (slightly) higher reward possibility.

Need someone consistent as my FAAB budget is pretty much gone.
But then again if I pull off that McCann/Fielder deal, won't need to do this.

What if Matt Wieters is called up? Should I hold out until the deadline passes to see if Ramon is dealt?

Even if he's called up from AA, I can't seem him being effective enough to help you if you are contending this season.
He hasn't even been in AA all season.
