I've been watching golf (and sports, for that matter) on TV for a long time and I've never had as much fun as I had this weekend watching the U.S. Open. Tiger is my favorite player, but man, I didn't want it to end and I was really pulling for Rocco. What a great story that would have been. But Tiger's victory was equally impressive and was just as incredible - he snatched the Open from Rocco twice. Two must-make birdies on the 18th two days in a row to force overtime, and with one bad leg to boot. Just great stuff, that shit was as good as the first Thursday and Friday of March Madness and the Super Bowl.

Now we find out Tiger won the Open on a trashed ACL and double stress fracture in his left tibia.
He's hurt, but keeps his pie hole shut, guts it out, and wins the damn tournament.
From a story on FOXsports.com:
Woods' swing coach, Hank Haney, described the moment when Woods first learned of the stress fractures, and doctors told Woods the preferred treatment for the stress fractures was three weeks on crutches and three weeks of inactivity.
"Tiger looked at the doctor and said, 'I'm playing in the U.S. Open, and I'm going to win.' And then he started putting on his shoes," Haney said. "He looked at me and said, 'Come on, Hank. We'll just putt today."'
Not only is Tiger the best we've ever seen, he pulls a Willis Reed and wins when he shouldn't even been playing.
Redonkulous.

No doubt. Definitely one of the most memorable golf moments of all time.
